Mrs. Lorin E. Pottinger was married at the Anglican Parish Church, Port Antonio in a ceremony performed by the Rev. J.H. Murray. The bride the former Carmen Joyce Stephens is the daughter of Mrs. D.A. Higgins and Mr. A.S. Stephens, residents of St. Andrew, and was given in marriage by her father. She wore a Flossie Thomas creation of Nylon and French Lace made on the sheath line with a Sabrina neckline. Her headdress was a crown covered with pearls and sequins attached to a fingertip veil of appliquéd tulle. She carried a bouquet of Lavender-lip Orchids.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lascelles King who were married on Saturday, June 20, at St. Michael’s Church, Victoria Avenue in a Ceremony performed by the Rev. E. Gordon. The bride is the former Norma Marjorie Barbara Williams, daughter of Mrs. Gladys Scott of Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland. The groom who is Assistant Manager of Parade Department Store is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E.B. King of 31, Delacree Road, St. Andrew. Given in marriage by Mr. Keith Binns, the bride wore a Flossie Thomas creation of Chantilly lace decorated with pleated nylon tulle fell from her two-tiered coronet of pearls and sequins and she carried a cascade of orchids and stephanotis.
Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Allan Touzalin, smile happily while passing the guard of honour formed by four representatives of the Boys Scout Association, after their wedding on Saturday, June 20,1964, at the University Chapel, Mona. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Cyril H. Morris and the Rev. Horace Russell. The bride is the former Norma Mae Moulton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald T. Moulton of 15, Anthurium Drive, Mona Heights and the groom is the son of the Hon. Chester Touzalin, Custos of St. Mary and Mrs. Touzalin of Highgate, St. Mary. The bride wore white embossed linen for her full length wedding gown, cut on the ‘A’ Linen with a close fitting bodice. She carried a bouquet of white gladioli.
Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Ennever, after their wedding at St. Athelredas Church, Fulham, London. The groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ennever of 6 Metcall Read, Whitfield Town, and a past student of Dint Hill Technical College, Linstead, works as a Company secretary in London. The bride, a past student of Excelsior College, is the daughter of the Barrett’s of Portland. She trained at the Central Middlesex and South London Hospitals from where she gained her SRN, SCM. Her dress was designed made by the groom’s sister Mrs. Dorothy Hanson. A Cleopatra headdress and lace and a bouquet of orchids, fuchsia and lilies of the valley completed her assemble following the ceremony a reception attended by over 100 guests was held at Phillbeach Gardens.
