Ryan Foster is a well-respected achiever in the corporate world and sport fraternity.

One with a proven track record of delivering outstanding business and commercial results and dynamic sport governance and management. Foster's leadership in both areas has been transformational and exemplary.

It has been the story of his life and little surprise, then, that recent forays have extended his continuation in passion-filled fields as CEO of the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA), plus becoming a director of Baker Tilly Tax and Advisory Services.

The latter is an international accountancy and business advisory network, which has its headquarters in London and started functioning in Jamaica in February 2014, when Strachan and Lafayette became an independent member.

The firm provides services to over 200 clients locally and has access to 30,000 resources in over 147 countries.

At a recent cocktail reception in Norbrook, Foster reiterated the company's position of creating value for its clientele.

"As a Director of Baker Tilly Advisory Services, one of the main goals and objectives is value creation for all stakeholders," he said.

Foster added: "We are committed to expanding the value proposition of our clients to provide solutions to ensure that all facets of their business are profitable."

That pretty much sums up his modus operandi, always seeking the best. In the field of business, Foster is widely acknowledged for his exceptional skills at organisational re-engineering that has resulted in increased efficiency and profitability, enhanced stakeholders' satisfaction levels, increased public confidence and institutional reputation.

Evidence of this manifests through his many corporate awards, such as the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce Award 2016 for Best Medium-Sized Company, Tastee Ltd., Tastee Ltd., 2017 and HACCP Certification 2013, Tastee Ltd., where he also functioned as CEO, driving many key decisions that generated significant growth in profits.

The aim is the same at BTAS.

"We want to look at areas such as financial technology, business process re-engineering, inventory management, logistics and cost controls.

"Ultimately we would love to bring some of our clients to IPO status. The Board and Management is not only committed to achieving this, but have the requisite skills and experience to do so." he shared.

A very accomplished corporate executive with tremendous expertise and experience in regional and international product and, generally, business negotiations, Foster continues to distinguish himself as a visionary leader and has been the recipient of several awards.

Foster holds a Masters in Accounting from the University of the West Indies (Mona), where he lectured Financial Accounting and Management in the Department of Management Studies and was the recipient of the prestigious Carlton Morrison Award from the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Social Sciences in the area of advanced Financial Accounting.
