Elegance met indulgence at the Jamaica Food and Drink Kitchen as French dairy brand, President, was officially launched in Jamaica by Facey Commodity Merchandise Division . The brunch-inspired event celebrated a new partnership between Facey and dairy company Lactalis and owners of the President brand.

The collaboration marks the local expansion of Lactalis’ European portfolio, including the President range, including salted and unsalted butters, cooking creams, and whipped creams, alongside an enhanced selection of Kraft cheeses already familiar to Jamaican consumers.

Representatives from Facey’s route-to-market, logistics, merchandising, sales and marketing teams joined key Lactalis executives for the celebration. Among them were Paul Reynoso, business development manager, and Andres De Ascencao, marketing manager.

“Lactalis adds a new layer of sophistication to the Jamaican dairy scene,” said Kirk Reid, business development manager at Facey. “We’re thrilled to introduce a line that elevates everyday cooking. With the President brand, we’re empowering Jamaicans to craft dishes with premium European flair, and we’re confident this is just the beginning of something delicious.”

Reynoso echoed the sentiment: “We’re very excited to partner with one of Jamaica’s largest distributors. We trust the Seprod Group to represent our brands with care, and this partnership with Facey is a key milestone for us in the region. We look forward to what we can achieve together.”

“As the distributor of the President brand, we are proud to expand our premium dairy offerings across key retail and food service channels,” Chana Hay, general manager of Seprod Distribution, shared. “We are excited to bring new flavours and culinary possibilities to kitchens islandwide.”

Guests were treated to a tasting menu curated by Chef Trevanne Donegal of Sear247, who showcased the versatility of the President range. These included bites of peppered shrimp in a creamy pimento sauce, charred scallion jerked chicken finished with roasted garlic and herb butter, morning glory and crumb cakes made with President butter, and coconut, garlic and vanilla bean-infused butters served alongside artisan breads and cakes.
