One Spirit. Endless possibilities.

That’s the tagline for one of the newest additions to the local market: Rémy V.

Recently introduced to the island by the House of Rémy Martin, the white spirit, according to AnIes Jordan, commercial manager in the Caribbean for Rémy Cointreau, is made from the finest French grapes. “It’s a very vibrant brand that represents versatility and resilience. It definitely aligns with the radiance of this island and its people. And it can be enjoyed on just about any occasion,” she told Food in an interview.

The diverse nature of the spirit was explored in four cocktails: Rémy V-ta, Rémy V lychee bloom, Rémy V sunset, and Rémy V spritz. “We wanted to adapt to the island while staying true to the global standard. So we collaborated with the CPJ team, who did a tremendous job, working with expert mixologists to make the best cocktails. Not only were the drinks well balanced, but they also evoked a feeling of euphoria with each and every sip,” she revealed.

Jamaica has the distinguished honour of being the first country in the Caribbean to provide this Rémy V experience, an intentional move. “Jamaica is always influencing the rest of the region. And it’s not only influencing the Caribbean but the world as well. Jamaica is definitely at the centre of creativity. So that’s why it was important to celebrate our brand with the very best,” said Jordan.

With Rémy Martin already doing well on the local market, the commercial manager is looking forward to the newest addition following in those footsteps. “Rémy Martin is one of our biggest markets in the Caribbean. And we want to continue to grow it. We want to continue to support Jamaica. We want to be part of the entertainment. We want to be part of the life of the wholesaler. We want to be part of the life of Jamaicans overall,” she added.
