Media man Andrew Green passes

Veteran business reporter and communication specialist Andrew Green passed away suddenly at home last weekend, days after celebrating his 60th birthday.

Green, who worked as a communication specialist for the JN Group for 11 years, previously acted as financial editor at The Gleaner where he forged numerous personal and professional friendships.

In journalism, he was also affiliated with several other media houses in Jamaica and the Caribbean, including the Jamaica Information Service (JIS), JamPress, and the Caribbean News Agency.

Green was appreciated by colleagues for his commitment and thoughtfulness and his analysis of financial matters.

“We will miss him dearly and express condolences to his family and friends during this time,” said Gareth Manning, head of JN’s Media Unit.
