Continue fight for LGBT rights

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I just wanna thank Gleaner columnist Dr Michael Abrahams for continuing to fight for the rights of the LGBTQ community in Jamaica.

As a Jamaican who has had to seek asylum in another country to find peace of mind and be able to live my truth, Dr Abrahams has given me hope that one day, other Jamaicans will see the LGBTQ community as equals, and not nasty, outcast, alien sodomites & b***yboys. Our lives are worth living too.

Thank you again, Dr Abrahams, for always bringing light to our situations and the homophobia we face.
