Simplify storm bulletins

THE EDITOR, Madam:

We are grateful to the government, media and meteorologists for the storm bulletins that are sent out. Though it would be great if the relevant authorities must instead name the parishes/actual locations for clarity.

It is similar to naming the constituencies. For example, in the recently concluded election a lady told me her constituency is North East, one said West and another said they are South West – this is confusing.

Can we be saved from the east, west, north and south combinations for the CXC geography classes and the exams? I am sure right now many if us are both confused and yet others are failing this hurricane exam already.

We urge the relevant persons and agencies to call out the parish names and locations.
