The annual Jamaica Teachers’ Association Golden Torch Award ceremony shone a spotlight on some of the nation’s most devoted educators, honouring their decades of service to education in Jamaica. Awardees from all 14 parishes proudly stepped forward to receive their well-earned accolades last Friday, each marking 35 years or more of unwavering dedication. Dressed in formal flair and beaming with pride, the honourees made their way to the stage at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel and Something Extra has the social highlights.
