Thank You Experiences hosts cultural dinner with regional tourism leaders
An intimate dinner at the historic Rose Hall Great House in Montego Bay brought together regional tourism leaders for an evening of Jamaican cuisine, world-class rums, and warm hospitality. The recent event saw Jamell Rayan Robinson, deputy premier of Turks and Caicos, commend Thank You Experiences for its efforts in strengthening cultural and regional ties through curated tourism experiences.
“From start to finish, every detail felt intentional and meaningful. The team managed to create something truly special that showcased Jamaica at its finest, its culture, its food, its rum, and most importantly, its people. I think it’s an experience worth sharing widely, something that could be packaged, duplicated, and refined so that others across the region and beyond can feel what we felt here tonight,” Robinson shared.
He applauded the evening, noting how profoundly it resonated with him. “Thank You Experiences did an exceptional job putting this together, not just for me, but for everyone who had the opportunity to experience and benefit from it,” he said.
The evening featured a culinary journey curated by Executive Chef Shea Stewart. Guests began with pan-seared seabass paired with Appleton 8-year-old rum-infused citrus risotto, a delicate rum beurre blanc, and rum-pickled vegetables – a refined fusion of Caribbean and international flavours. The second course delivered bold flavour with a jerk-scented lamb rack, finished with a spiced rum-orange glaze and served with yam-and-cheese croquettes. Dessert was a flamed pineapple topped with a rich rum crumble, satisfying every sweet tooth.
“It is remarkable to witness a private experience curated with such cultural integrity,” said Odette Soberam Dyer, regional director of the Jamaica Tourist Board. “The work Thank You Experiences is doing aligns seamlessly with our goal of promoting the soul of Jamaica.”
Complementing the three-course meal, David Morrison, celebrated Jamaican rum ambassador and deputy master blender at Appleton Estate Jamaica, led an immersive tasting featuring Appleton’s exceptional 8-, 12-, 15-, and 21-year-old selections.
“We don’t just create experiences; we connect hearts, cultures, and opportunities”, Ewan Campbell, co-founder of Thank You Experiences, added. “This evening was a symbol of what’s possible when the Caribbean comes together through shared stories and authentic hospitality. It was an honour to work with our sponsors and partners, Appleton Estate, Rose Hall Great House, and the Jamaica Tourist Board, to provide this experience to regional leaders, not only inspiring future collaborations but also positioning Thank You Experiences as the Caribbean’s most trusted curator of culture-forward encounters.”
Nastassia Morrison, co-founder of Thank You Experiences, added, “This is only the beginning. Bringing these leaders to the same table opens doors not only for future collaborations but for positioning Thank You Experience as the Caribbean’s most trusted curator of culture-forward encounters. This wasn’t just a dinner, it was diplomacy through experience. We’re proud to be shaping how the world sees Jamaica, experience at a time.”
