Professor Emerita Carolyn Cooper celebrated her 75th birthday on November 22 with a beautiful gathering at her Beverly Hills home, attended by family and friends. Celebrity DJ Mutabaruka kept the dance floor alive with hit after hit. Cooper had been in two minds about hosting a party, mindful of the devastation caused by the recent hurricane and remembering how the COVID pandemic had disrupted her 70th birthday celebration. Encouraged by family and friends, she chose to celebrate life in gratitude. Event planner Dawn Woodstock pulled out all the stops, ensuring a standout experience with decor by Tara Hirst-Bernard and the South Asian-inspired cuisine curated by Woodstock. Here are the social highlights.
