The Jamaica Book Festival’s inaugural staging of the Africa Caribbean Literary Exchange in partnership with the P.J. Patterson Institute for Africa Caribbean Advocacy unfolded vibrantly at the Confucius Institute on Saturday on the grounds of The University of the West Indies, Mona.

Powered by the African Export–Import Bank, the event drew authors, creatives, students, and literary enthusiasts for a dynamic celebration of storytelling in all its forms.

Rich, engaging panel discussions, interactive workshops, live readings, and intimate meet-and-greet sessions afforded festival patrons a dynamic mix of literary exploration and cultural exchange. Patrons turned out in their festival fits, ready for a full day of creative connection.
