Tributes continue to pour in following news of the passing of reggae great John Holt.

Holt died in London Sunday evening.

He had been battling ill health for some time and seemed to have worsened since August when he collapsed on stage at the One Love Concert in England.

Following the collapse, the Stick by Me singer underwent a surgical operation and remained in London for recovery.

Earlier today, The Jamaica Labour Party expressed sadness of the passing of Holt.

The National Democratic Movement (NDM) has also paid tribute to the reggae icon.

In a release, the NDM said the singer would be sadly missed, but would be remembered through his music.

The Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JARIA) is also mourning the loss of the 'Stick by me' singer.

JARIA today expressed condolences to Holt's family and friends.

The association is expected to issue a formal statement on his passing.
