Senator Malahoo Forte says Jamaica needs a different kind of leadership if it is to progress

The Opposition spokesperson on Health, Senator Marlene Malahoo Forte says the Prime Minister’s decision to strip the Health Minister of the health portfolio and reassign him to Labour and Social Security does not enough.

The Prime Minister today responded to public pressure over Ferguson's handling of the health ministry.

But according to Malahoo Forte, no one is being held accountable for the failings in the ministry.

She says Prime Minister’s decision to shift Ferguson to another ministry raises questions about how the government views matters of governance and accountability.
