Juvenile wearing cast on left arm on the run, escaped police custody at hospital
The police are searching for a juvenile who escaped custody at the Spanish Town Hospital, St Catherine yesterday
Seventeen-year-old Romaine Dixon of Quarry Hill, Lime Tree, St Catherine was charged with two counts of simple larceny.
Dixon is of dark complexion, slim build, is about 5'7" tall with a scar to his left side, a bruise to the right side of his face and a short arm cast to his left upper arm.
Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that about 9:50 a.m., the prisoner, who was taken to the facility for treatment under Police guard, requested to use the bathroom and allegedly escaped through a window.
At the time he escaped, he was dressed in a black jeans pant.
The Police are reminding the public that it is a criminal offence to harbour a criminal.
