Four men were held in Kingston this morning in a joint police predawn operation aimed at going after gang members.

The Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) says the men are suspected to have been involved in several cases of extortion and other gang related activities.

MOCA says they will be questioned in the presence of their attorneys in relation to the allegations.

It says today’s operation, which started about 4 o’clock this morning, is the culmination of a lengthy and complex investigation into gang leadership, membership and associated offences.
