Renowned Jamaican artist Barrington Watson dies

Renowned Jamaican artist Barrington Watson has died.
He was 87.
Watson died at home in Kingston last night after ailing for some time.
Born in Hanover in 1931 Watson was a recipient of the Order of Jamaica. 
He was educated at London's Royal College of Art, attended the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris and the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam among other major European art academies.
