Robinson hosts CDF consultation
With $20 million to spend from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) this fiscal year, Member of Parliament for South East St Andrew Julian Robinson last week met with representatives of community-based organisations, churches, and individual residents to discuss the projects they want done.
The annual CDF consultation was done at Christ Church in Vineyard Town and included presentations from organisations including the Heart Trust/NTA, the National Youth Service, and the police.
"We have been doing this since 2012, where the MP and I give reports on the previous year's expenditure and field questions about how the money was spent and the plans for this Year," said Andrew Swaby, councillor for the Vineyard Town Division in the constituency.
"The Heart Trust bus was also there to provide counselling and accept applications," added Swaby.
