Constable hospitalised after two-vehicle collision in Portland

A police constable is now in hospital in serious condition following a two-vehicle collision along the Breastwork main road in Portland this morning.
The police report that the constable was driving a motorcycle that collided head-on with a motorcar travelling in the opposite direction.
It’s reported that he was thrown from the motorcycle on impact.
The injured policeman was taken to the Port Antonio Hospital by a passing motorist and has been admitted in serious, but stable condition.
