Illegal gun seized in Litchfield, Trelawny, man arrested

The Falmouth police on Tuesday seized a 45mm Haskell pistol and four 45 mm rounds of ammunition during an operation in Litchfield, Wait-a-Bit in Trelawny.

Reports indicate that about 6:45 a.m., lawmen searched a premises during which the firearm and ammunition were found wrapped in a white plastic bag.

One man was arrested in connection to the find.

His identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
