St Elizabeth residents block Smoothland main road over lack of electricity

The Smoothland main road in St Elizabeth is currently blocked as residents continue to protest the lack of electricity since the passage of hurricane Beryl.
The police have advised motorists to expect delays and exercise caution when traversing this route.
The St Elizabeth police are maintaining a presence in the area.
