The West Indies Group of University Teachers (WIGUT) says staff at the University of the West Indies, Global Campus, have withdrawn their service due to the non-payment of November salaries.

In a media release on Wednesday, it said the action will continue until the situation is resolved satisfactorily.

"The current situation has triggered concern amongst the staff as to whether they will receive their December salaries and other outstanding monies on time," WIGUT said.
