St Elizabeth farmer charged after police seize poker machine and ganja at his home

The St Elizabeth police have charged a man after a poker machine, several related parts, and a quantity of ganja were found at his home in Slipe district.

He is 34-year-old farmer Oshane Wilson, who has been charged with unlawful possession of property, possession of ganja, and dealing in ganja.

According to the police, on Monday, March 3, cops conducted an operation in the community and searched Wilson’s house.

During the search, they discovered a poker machine along with several related components, including monitors, bill acceptors, and circuit boards, which Wilson was unable to account for, the police reported.

Additionally, a quantity of ganja and ganja seeds were seized.

Wilson was taken into custody and later charged.

His court date is being finalised.
