200 pounds of ganja seized in Watchwell district, St Elizabeth

The police in St Elizabeth seized 200 pounds of ganja and eight pounds of seeds in Watchwell district on Wednesday.
The police report that around 10:00 a.m., officers on an operation carried out a search in the area and discovered the ganja and ganja seeds.
The police stated that the seized weed was subsequently destroyed by burning.
It was not disclosed whether any arrests were made.
The Area 3 Firearm and Narcotics Investigation Division is conducting an investigation.
