Trelawny landscaper killed in hit-and-run incident

A 61-year-old landscaper was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Trelawny on Saturday night.
He has been identified as Balford Green of Blackwin district in Deeside, Trelawny.
Head of the Trelawny police, Superintendent Winston Milton, says Green was hit by a vehicle along the roadway between Green Park and Hammersmith in the parish.
"The vehicle did not stop. The police investigation has commenced and we are asking members of the public to contact us with any information they may have," said Milton.
Green was pronounced dead at the Falmouth Hospital at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
