JC's Kai Kelly breaks Champs record to win Class 3 100m gold

Jamaica College’s (JC) Kai Kelly was the toast of the Boys Class Three 100m final on Wednesday as he took gold in a new Champs record of 10.60 seconds.

The previous record of 10.69 was held by former JC athlete Christopher Scott.

Kelly edged out pre-race favourite Jevaney Findlay of St Jago High, who also eclipsed Scott’s old record, taking second in 10.67.

Rajaun Romelly, also of St Jago, took bronze in 10.87
