Funeral parlour owner in Belize found guilty of having sex with minor

BELMOPAN, Belize, – A 40-year-old owner of a funeral parlour in Belize will return to court on April 25 for sentencing after he was found guilty of having sexual intercourse with an 11-year-old child.

Patrick Robinson appeared before Justice Derick Sylvester where he was convicted on three of five counts of having sex with the 11-year-old girl and continued until she was 14 years.

Robinson has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison, until April 25, when his mitigation plea will be heard before sentencing.
