Man's decomposing body found at home in Whitehouse, Westmoreland

The Westmoreland police have launched an investigation into the discovery of a decomposing body in the parish on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as 42-year-old Fitzroy Smith of Whitehouse, Westmoreland.

Smith's body was reportedly discovered at his dwelling by passersby about 2:15 p.m.

The police were summoned and the body, which was in a state of decomposition, was removed.
