MBJ Airports Limited the operators of the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, St James,, says it is implementing new parking arrangements at the facility, designed to improve traffic flow, enhance accessibility and provide a more efficient experience for all users.

It says the new 'Park Smart' initiative takes effect on June 1, and will introduce clearly defined short-term and long-term parking options.

The Arrivals Public Car Park will accommodate short-term parking only, specifically quick pick-ups and short visits of three hours or less. It will cost motorists $250 per hour or part thereof.

Meanwhile, the Departures Public Car Park will accommodate short- and long-term parking. An hourly rate of $250 will apply, with a rate of $1,000 per day after three hours. All travellers leaving vehicles overnight must use this car park.

“We understand that clear, convenient parking options are essential to a stress-free airport experience and so, these enhancements represent our ongoing commitment to providing a superior experience for everyone who uses the parking facilities at Sangster International Airport," Peter Hall, Chief Operating Officer at MBJ said.

"By optimising our parking facilities, we are ensuring more efficient traffic management throughout the airport complex,” he added.
