Christopher Taylor marks return to track with 400m win
Jamaican sprinter Christopher Taylor made his official return to the track on Saturday, winning the men’s 400 metres in 45.66 seconds before a modest crowd at the National Stadium in St Andrew.
Taylor was competing at the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association’s World Championships Preparation meet.
The former youth standout had been absent from the sport for two and a half years following a suspension by the Athletics Integrity Unit for evading, refusing, or failing to submit a doping sample.
Taylor is scheduled to compete in the men’s 200 metres at the Racers Grand Prix on June 7.
