Over 1500 pounds of ganja seized and destroyed in St Elizabeth

Police attached to the Firearms and Narcotics Investigation Division (FNID) seized and destroyed over 1500 pounds of ganja during an operation on Thursday in Northampton district, St Elizabeth.
The operation was carried out between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The police say the ganja was found cut and placed in a field to dry.
No arrest was made in relation to the seizure.
The investigation is ongoing.
