Body of missing Clarendon man found hanging from tree, suicide suspected

The body of a Clarendon man who was reported missing was on Wednesday found hanging by an electrical cord from a tree in bushes in Chatteau district in the parish.

He has been identified by the police as 60-year-old Louie George Wiltshire, otherwise called 'Steel', who is from the area.

He reportedly went missing about a week ago.

The police are looking into a suspected case of suicide.

A post-mortem is to be conducted.

The body was discovered around 5:00 p.m. and the police were called to the scene.

The May Pen police are probing the matter.
