As part of its ongoing commitment to community wellbeing, Scotiabank hosted a blood drive, in partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS), on June 19, at the Scotia Centre downtown. This life-saving initiative included support from Scotiabank staff, clients and staff from neighbouring organisations, reflecting the bank’s broader mission to impact communities beyond financial services. In addition to boosting the NBTS’s critical blood supply, the bank hopes to promote the culture and practice of donating blood regularly.
