St Andrew farmer dies after machete attack in Mount Industry
The St Andrew North police are probing the death of a man who succumbed to chop wounds sustained during an altercation with another man in their community of Mount Industry in Gordon Town.
Dead is 29-year-old farmer Akeem Brown, who died on Monday, a day after the incident.
Reports are that about 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, Brown was involved in an altercation with a community member.
During the altercation, the man reportedly used a machete to chop Brown repeatedly.
He was assisted to the Kingston Public Hospital, where he was admitted.
He died the following day.
