Teen girl arrested over fatal stabbing of teen boy in Portmore

The police in Portmore, St Catherine have arrested a teen girl in connection with the stabbing death of a teen boy during a dispute in the community of Beverly Flats in Newland on Friday.
Dead is 15-year-old Duxane Elliott, who lived in the community.
The police report that about 12:30 p.m., Elliott and the 14-year-old girl had a dispute.
A knife was brought into play and Elliott was stabbed.
He was assisted to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Portmore Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
