Rico Henry, defender for English football club Brentford, has earned his first call-up to the Reggae Boyz as preparations intensify for Jamaica’s final two matches in the Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers.

Head coach Steve McClaren announced a 26-man squad on Saturday.

Henry, who was previously listed in Jamaica’s player watchlist, has now officially joined the national programme as the team continues its push to secure a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the Canada, United States and Mexico.

The Reggae Boyz will close out their qualifying campaign with matches against Trinidad and Tobago on November 13 and Curacao on November 18.

McClaren’s squad features a blend of experienced internationals and emerging talents, including captain Andre Blake, defender Ethan Pinnock, and attackers Demarai Gray and Shamar Nicholson.
