St James Parish Court resumes operations today
The Judiciary of Jamaica is advising that the St James Parish Court will resume full operations today after being closed following the passage of Hurricane Melissa.
It says Gun Court and Circuit Court matters are currently being addressed, while efforts continue to stabilise infrastructure and ensure a safe environment for staff and court users.
The Judiciary of Jamaica says it is actively working to restore full operations in the parish following disruptions caused by the recent hurricane.
"We remain committed to restoring normal court operations as quickly as possible and expresses appreciation to staff, stakeholders, and members of the public for their patience and understanding during this recovery period," a media release from the body said.
