The police in St Elizabeth on Saturday arrested two people following the seizure of more than 100 assorted rounds of ammunition and two firearms during an operation in Santa Cruz.
The identities of the individuals in custody are being withheld pending further investigation.
Reports from the Santa Cruz police state that about 5:30 a.m., a police team conducting an operation searched a premises.
According to the police, a Taurus pistol and a Troy carbine rifle, along with ninety-six 9mm cartridges and forty-four 5.56 cartridges, were seized.
