A man charged over the theft of gaming boxes from a bar in St Catherine was on Friday remanded when he appeared in the parish court.
Omar Dennis, 35, of Denham Town in Kingston, is charged with shop breaking and larceny.
Dennis appeared before Acting Senior Parish Court Judge Janelle Nelson-Gayle, who ordered that he be remanded until April 10.
The charges stem from an incident near Kitson Town, St Catherine, where a bar was reportedly broken into and several game boxes stolen.
The police reported that a motor car transporting the boxes was intercepted, with Dennis aboard.
The game boxes, valued at over $1,000,000, were seized and later identified as the items taken during the break-in.
Following investigations, Dennis was arrested and subsequently charged after a question-and-answer session with the police.
