Police probing shooting of man in Retirement, St Ann

The police in St Ann are probing the shooting of a man in Retirement district on Saturday night.
The police report that about 11 o’clock, the man was pounced upon by unknown assailant(s) along the main road in the community and shot.
The 21-year-old man, who is a resident of the area, was assisted to hospital for medical attention.
The police have not established a motive for the attack.
The Browns Town Criminal Investigation Branch is probing the matter.
