Kemahl ‘The Hitman’ Russell registered a unanimous victory over Devon ‘Concrete’ Moncrieffe in the semi-finals of the Wray and Contender Series Wednesday night.

The bout took place at the Chinese Benevolent Association.

Russell was declared the winner on all three judges’ scorecards after a gruelling eight rounds of competitive action.

Russell, who was recording his sixth straight victory in his short professional career, dominated the fight from the opening bell with a number of telling body punches and well-executed jabs to the face of Moncrieffe.

He had Moncrieffe crashing into the ropes in the third round after a left hook.

Russell will now face the winner of next week’s semi-final match up between Tsetsi ‘Lights Out’ Davis and Richard ‘Frog’ Holmes.
