Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:
Olympic 110m hurdles bronze medal winner Hansle Parchment is leaving Jamaica's pre-Olympic training camp at the Linx Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Parchment, who had been given a medical exemption from the National Senior Championships last month because of injury, seems to have failed in his bid to recover well in time and prove his fitness ahead of the August 5-21 Olympic Games.

His manager Juliet Campbell confirmed that he was leaving camp tonight.

Third placed finisher at the National Senior Championships Andrew Riley, who was not in Rio, is said to be on his way to the Brazilian city.
