Tributes continue for Pat Anderson
Garth Gayle (General Secretary - JAAA)
I am saddened by Pat Anderson's passing. He was a great administrator. He was the first president I served with and he taught me so much. Pat was a great inspiration to all. He always tried to put youth first and contributed to their development. He will be greatly missed as he assisted several student athletes over the years to realise their dreams as professionals.
Don Anderson (Chairman PFAJ, former JOA VP)
It was with a great sense of loss that I received the news of the passing of Pat Anderson, one of our great sports administrators. Pat was someone, who was selfless and who devoted his life cheerfully to helping athletes advance their careers, regardless of their sport. He served as President of both the JAAA and JFF and this made him one of the really unique and gifted leaders who saw country above partisan interests and who was passionate about whichever sport he was involved in. Jamaica has lost a good man.
May his soul find eternal rest.
Dalton Myers (President Intercol)
We are all saddened by the news of PAt Anderson's passing. Words can't explain what he has done for sports in Jamaica. He was a stalwart and someone who was always willing to mentor young administrators and share ideas on how to improve sports in Jamaica.
