Arnett Gardens registered their first win of the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) season, beating arch rivals Tivoli Gardens (TG) 1-0 at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex this afternoon.

Damari Deacon scored the winner two minutes from the end when the initial shot saved by TG goalkeeper, Davian Watkins, fell in front of Deacon, who tapped it into an empty net.

The game was a tight and tense affair void of many chances. Tivoli registered only four shots, with only two finding the target, while Arnett managed six shots with three of those on target.

The win is Arnett's third straight win at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex. Tivoli are suffering their second straight loss, after a 4-0 drubbing to UWI FC at the UWI Mona Bowl last week.

Today's RSPL results:

Tivoli 0-1 Arnett

Molynes 3-2 UWI

Dunbeholden 0-1 Waterhouse

Humble Lion 1-1 Mount Pleasant

Vere 2-0 Portmore
