DOHA 2019 | Danielle Williams settles for bronze in 100m hurdles final

World number one hurdler Danielle Williams finished third in the final of Women's 100m hurdles to earn Jamaica's tenth medal at the IAAF World Championships.  

In a stunning upset, Williams the 2015 world champion and the overall favourite, got a slow start and could not recover to capture the title.

She went through the line in a time of 12.47 seconds.

The United States finished first and second with Nia Ali winning the world title in a new personal best of 12.34 seconds ahead of Kendra Harrison in 12.46 seconds.

Janeek Brown finished seventh in 12.88 seconds while Megan Tapper tripped over the first hurdle and did not finish.
