DOHA 2019 | Jamaica secures 12th medal with silver in Men's 4X400m relay

Jamaica closed the final night of the IAAF World Championship in Doha, Qatar earning a silver medal in the Men's 4x400m relay final.
The team comprised of Akeem Bloomfield, Nathon Allen, Terry Thomas and Demish Gaye finished in a season's best time of 2:57.90 behind the United States who took home the title in a world leading 2:56:69 seconds. Belgium came third in a season's best of 2:58.78 seconds.
Jamaica's leaves Doha with a total of 12 medals: three gold, five silver and four bronze.
