Jamaican left-arm unorthodox spinner Dennis Bulli and middle-order batsman Nkrumah Bonner could miss out for the Cricket West Indies President’s XI when they face Ireland in their 50 over warm-up game at the 3W's Oval in Barbados on Saturday.
Bulli is said to have injured his shoulder during the team’s training session while Bonner did not take part in the session due to a virus.
A scan was done on Bulli and the findings are that the JDF player injured his bursae in his left shoulder, while fielding. The team doctor has advised the player to rest for five days, however, an assessment will be made on Sunday.
The case of Bonner is still not known; however, it is said that the player has been showing dengue-like symptoms following a visit from a doctor.
Brandon King and Oshane Thomas are the other Jamaicans in the President’s XI squad.
