Dunbeholden FC continued their good run of form under coach Harold Thomas coming from behind to beat Humble Lion 2-1 in the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) at the UWI-JFF Captain Horace Burrell Centre of Excellence on Friday.

Andrew Vanzie opened the scoring for Humble Lion in the 20th minute with a well struck freekick.

However, that lead was short-lived as 12 minutes later, Mark Miller, broke through the lines and fired past Dennis Taylor in Humble Lion's goal.

Ten minutes later, the former Waterhouse player latched onto a defence-splitting pass and slotted past Taylor again.

Humble Lion desperately searched for the equaliser in the second half but Dunbeholden played a tight tactical game to secure the victory and keep Humble Lion rooted at the bottom of the JPL on six points. They have now missed a spot in the playoffs.

With the win, Dunbeholden jumped four places to third with 13 points. Dunbeholden have not lost in four games, taking 10 points from a possible 12.
