Record for St Jago’s Demario Prince in Central Champs Class 1 boys’ 110mh
Under-20 World Championships 110 metres hurdles finalists, Demario Prince of St Jago, returned to the record books in the event today after winning the Class I boys’ 110 metres hurdles at the Central Athletics Championships at GC Foster College.
Prince clocked 13.74 seconds to erase Rahyme Christian’s 13.76, set in 2020.
It was a sprint hurdles clean sweep by St Jago, following a record run by Marquis Page in Class III boys’ 100 metres hurdles in 13.40 seconds, with Romario Jibbison winning the Class 11 boys’ 110 metres hurdle in 14.66 seconds.
