Reigning women’s 200 metres World Championship silver medallist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is the fastest qualifier for tomorrow’s final after clocking 22.39 seconds to win semi-final two at the National Senior and Junior Championships (Trials) at the National Stadium this evening.

Fraser-Pryce won ahead of Lanae-Tava Thomas, who clocked 22.46 seconds.

Sasha-lee Forbes, the winner of the first semi-final, stopped the clock at 22.84 seconds, ahead of reigning national and World Championships champion Shericka Jackson, who produced 22.88.

University of Texas’ Kevona Davis also booked a spot in the final by winning the third semi-final in 22.94.

Joining the trio of Fraser-Pryce, Forbes and Davis in tomorrow’s final, set for 7:38 p.m., are Natasha Morrison, Jackson, Jodean Williams, Natalliah Whyte and Thomas.
