Jamaica’s Antonio Watson celebrates winning heat five of the men’s 400 metres at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, today.

Jamaica men’s 400 metres representatives; today qualified for the semi-finals at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Sean Bailey, competing in heat four, finished third in 44.98 seconds.

In heat five, Antonio Watson cruised to victory as he clocked 44.77 seconds, while Zandrion Barnes safely booked his spot after finishing third in the final heat in 45.05.

Norway’s Havard Ingvaldsen is the fastest qualifier, as he clocked a national record of 44.39 to win heat three.
